There's a lot of horror at it over here in the states. There are lots of protests being organized, but with this administration, rather than protests seeming to get them to say, "Maybe we went too far and should tone it down," it results in them tripling down. It's easy to fall into hopelessness.

Congratulations. I read that book, and I was really, REALLY, impressed with the way it managed pronouns. It was deft and flawless. Well done.

Just remember, it is ok to be happy. It is ok to walk on bright sunny days and eat an ice cream and look out at the ocean. We cannot bear the weight of the world if we have no inner strength supporting us. Allow yourself the right to live.
