My other nemesis bird this year is the Purple Finch. Like the goldfinches, they're always around but never when I have my camera out. I've gotten some decent photos of females, but the males have eluded me. Got a few crappy/mediocre photos (see below) but no good ones. Yet. They're next, dammit! :)
