People act like being disabled is great because you get all these ‘benefits’ but forget you have to actually live with your illness or diagnosis or impairment

Do you have to wonder, really, though? I feel like I can confidently answer all of these: (1) 0, (2) also 0, (3) actually probably a fair few... academics & medical professionals are some of the most ableist folks out there, and (4) once again 0.
