There are many people that are in need of a caregiver in order to live their life. I have supported legislation to be easier to access along with making sure Caregivers get properly paid.

Today we remember the long and difficult history of equality for Transgender Equality. To many have been lost to hatred and attacks for who they are. We must update our laws to combat this hate that too many people face.

Making sure our children get the proper education they deserve is important and takes a lot of work. Not only do we need teachers, but those that support educations from administrators to TAs to the many other staffers.

I am here with my Democrat colleges in Raleigh ready to actually pass a budget for the state. But Republicans are not here because ultimately they are not working to improve the lives of North Carolinians, but to help Phil Berger survive his primary.

The cost of living for to many is too high for too many. We need to combat this by providing Free School Lunch for Public School Students, lower health care costs, increase COLA for state & local government retirees, and more.

NC Democrats are fighting for lowering the cost of goods, keeping healthcare affordable, free school lunch for public school students, protecting every person's rights under the constitution, ending Gerrymandering, ensuring public safety for all, and fighting for everyone.
