The night walk to view the Kilauea eruption found the clouded sky set ablaze with the fiery lava erupting below. Quite eerie!

Hawaii Pololū Valley Lookout. The lengthy drive to this dead-end location was worth the extra time to encounter. The view is one of the best on the big island, even saw some whales!

The big island of Hawaii is diverse as it is gorgeous. One of the highest points is Mauna Kea, where several scientific observation research stations are positioned in the frigid area above the clouds to view the depths of space. Here we find breathtaking sunsets and clear views.

This was a lot of fun to color while using some new techniques. Love the cute seahorses and turquoise blue color is my favorite!

Colored this using Ohuhu markers, white gel pen, and black fine point marker. It’s from Glow Glyph, 101 Calmness Coloring Book.
The paper isn’t ideal for markers, so I’m not thrilled with the outcome and the way the paper absorbed the ink. It’s not a thick paper and the back is grey.

Apparently this is a thing you do after visiting Windy Point in Willow Canyon in Tucson. So many cars were seen driving down the mountain wearing these hood decorations. So funny!
