Big turnout in the rain for No Kings in Newton, Ma. This was my sign. A number of people came up to me to comment on it and to talk about their dads, too.

Four miles running barefoot on the beach. On the return trip I faced a constant 28mph + headwind. Slow is an understatement but at least I got it done.

I just can’t seem to catch a break with my running.

Since I seemed to have acquired a number of runner followers, in case anyone is paying attention, this is me at age 72 in August celebrating the one year anniversary of an upper tibial stress fracture by running a 5 mile road race. No longer the least bit fast but I refuse to give up!
