There's something fundamentally wrong when you go to experts for assistance to set up a CIC and they don't give the bigger picture of the annual report for companies house CIC34 & AA001, & CT600. No advice about not claiming gift aid, so you also have to set up a charity - are they really experts?

Tonight’s Thoughts - The War on Drugs in Yr 3 Critical Criminology has my brain tingling. It explains a lot about state harm, power, and control. ⚠️ Opens with a pet being shot - brutal start, but powerful messages in state capitalism!

Joe Rogans' YouTube channel - 2 hrs of key points to consider.

Even in moments of challenge, you’ve found opportunities to learn, adapt, and move forward. Small victories whether in personal development, relationships, or work have accumulated into meaningful progress. #keepgoing

In 2023, 74,996 people on probation in England & Wales were known domestic abuse offenders (96% = 71,996 men). (The British Journal of Criminology, 2024, 64, 1171–1188). Instead of addressing abusers, many DV services now frame support as “mental health & wellbeing” to secure funding. #stopdv #how

My thoughts tonight: The disparity in funding between Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) services and mental health and wellbeing initiatives in the UK can be attributed to several interrelated factors, including shifting political priorities, public health trends, and economic considerations.

How can leaders support gender equality and women’s safety while allowing a business that profits from objectifying women to open?

What does this mean for Newcastle’s commitment to protecting women and girls?

We need answers. Should these decisions be made without consulting experts?

Trump's promised executive order against "gender ideology" is ugly and dangerous, and also, like everything with Trump, contains few specifics and is meant to terrify people into self-repression. Here's my attempt to refocus on the fight ahead:
Trump’s Assault on Trans Rights Has Begun. Here’s What to Watch For.
An early executive order shows the White House wants to get into the business of defining sex and gender. That could play out in a few ways.
