Don't get it twisted. Trump is having the National Guard pick up trash to debase them. He hates the military. He is incapable of understanding anyone who would make sacrifices for the greater good. He thinks they are suckers and losers, and he's treating them as such.

You could just feel yesterday how much Trump sincerely wanted to stop people in Ukraine from being killed. You could tell that his only motivation is to stop the bloodshed. It really seemed like his main concern - not his ego, minerals, past grievances, or his love for Putin.

Ending the war is very easy.
Putin must cease his attacks on Ukraine and stop the war that he started.
But Putin has no intention of ending the war, and we do not have any quick and easy ways to influence him.
