Dr Katherine Calvin is not only NASA's Chief Scientist. She is also, along with Dr Joy Jaqueline Pereira, Co-Chair of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change)'s Working Group 3, and thus the highest ranking American scientist on the IPCC.
