It has offered incredible opportunties to residents in Hackney and neighbouring boroughs and I'm please to announce that Hackney has invested further in the programme to keep it running so even more Hackney residents can benefit from opportunities in the knowledge economy

Over the 5 years of the programme, LIFT has engaged over 10,000, 2,400 of which are Hackney residents; created 320 jobs, 80 apprenticeships, 1,400 work experience opportunities, 80 paid internships; and supported 150 start ups lead by local people from underrepresented groups.
