Hackney Councillor. Cabinet Member, Employment, Skills & HR. When I'm not on the doorstep speaking to residents, I'm Chair CLF Employment & Skills Board, Trustee, Shoreditch Trust, and Governor at Homerton Hospital NHS Trust.
Residents from Shepherd Market Est came together to discuss how to make better use of Napier Grove Community Hall. They shared ideas for a welcoming & successful space. I’m excited to see how residents & the council can ensure our halls reflect local priorities & stay at the heart of community life

Representation matters and Hackney Council’s diversity is why I’m proud to be part of a council where we have women at the top of the organisation for the first time.

✅ 55% of cabinet members are women
✅ 40% of commission chairs are women
✅ And for the first time ever, Hackney’s Mayor is a woman
