I’ve read a random assortment of fantasy and there are so many repetitive tropes. I can say with confidence that the world building and magic systems Rachel Gillig has done here is one of the most unique, creative, and captivating I’ve had the pleasure of reading. Keep me posted on your thoughts!

I just finished the sequel, Two Twisted Crowns! Without a doubt the best duology I've read, period!
