And even if the story *is* able to delve into it, don't film or write it like a scene from a porn video. That's hypocritical to an insane degree. The implication is enough.

I mean, if someone does something that warrants that type of response, then go right ahead and use that sort of energy. I just wish more people knew how to turn it off when it isn't necessary or deserved. It's a very situational type of response at best.

I get that everyone has quirks, but having lived with a bitchy, catty gay who shows me videos about bitchy, catty gay folks being dramatic and judgmental... it gets insufferable quick. I don't follow content that shits on others for no reason, and it somehow becomes a personality trait.

This latest iteration was Don't Threaten Me With a Good Time by Panic! at the Disco, of course. Complete with a belch, point-of-view pred shot, and relieving a skull in the morning. I wish I was joking so hard.

Definitely attractive. The problem is that we rarely see it in ourselves, so it can be incredibly hard to accept without sounding arrogant... which you wouldn't be if you did, since you legitimately are.

With modern franchise moviemaking, sure. I can see that being a massive issue especially with how Marvel is going, where you have to watch all the streaming series, movies, and the tie-in comics. But with old-school movies that never got a slew of sequels, the whole story is usually on the screen.

More people need to know that something like this happened, and that the US alone was to blame for everything that followed. There should be vastly more about this in all forms of US history, and especially our academic material. If that doesn't work, at least spread awareness of it through fiction.

There's a good reason that one of the works I'm currently responsible for ignored the world wars entirely and made explicit mention of the this particular conflict and the following colonization. It's super messed up in almost every regard.
