Yep, my asylum client’s young sons were taken from her by CPS in CA for two weeks until a judge finally ordered them to go back to her after she proved she in fact was a DV victim, it was so traumatizing for her and her kids! She was lucky to find a pro bono lawyer to fight her case in family court

They’d somehow have to get the habeas petition filed while they are in ICE custody in the United States, before they’re put on a plane 🤷♀️
