I got this useful bon mot from a middle school teacher recently.

In response to, “I DONT UNDERSTAND,” he calmly said, “okay what steps have you taken to understand?”

And that’s when I realized that a lot of folks have no steps.

at least they'll still let you decline, for now, a silver lining. Seems like unless we turn the tide, the future is: no consent, our medical notes being accessed by authorities, maybe no contact even with the doctor, just being shunted off to Dr. AI before another AI gets to turn down our claims.
