This is not a perfect analogy by any means but what I'm trying to say is that 1) current debates often do not reflect real-life happenings because they are not nuanced enough but 2) one cannot use nuance as defense for (supporting) genuinely hurtful behavior and must take accountability for doing so

I prefer cats because they're more self-sufficient, don't need to be taken outside, and are cuter in my opinion.
