I do like the stich pattern, it is super. But it doesn't go well with the yarn. So I decided to 🐸 it and make it again, but in another yarn, I have a beautiful bleu wool ready to use. The red yarn goes in my stash for a future project.

Thank you! I did intend it to look classic, as I made this one for my husband to wear when he drives in his classic car (a TR3 from 1957). It matches the colour of the car. It was great fun to make. Lucy Hague has the most beautiful designs.

Oh, Celtic braid throws are great. You should definitely make one of those. And we, crocheters and knitters, have to have at least one WIP in our project basket, don't you think? Just in case you run out of projects.

I started with crochet, making small objects, ages ago. And I do have to admit that this was a really big project. I've made one blanket before and that is one made of a lot of small squares.

Thank you. I do think that making things with your hands is so rewarding. And for me it is very relaxing, it takes my mind off all the things happening around the world.
