My great-aunt knitted this hat for my mother. Both have passed away since. But I would love to make one myself but don't know which stich auntie used, detail on the second picture. She explained it to me, but that was more than 30 years ago!

#showmeyourknits: it is #WIP week. The red sweater is waiting to be 🐸. The grey cardigan on the right has ben in my WIP basket for two years now, but all kinds of new projects keep coming first. The stripped on top is fairly new, but the grey sweater left is going to be a X-mas present for my son.

#showmeyourknits This week is cable week. I do love knitting cables. These are my favourites: a shawl with cables on both sides. The #Bain, designed by #LucyHague. I knitted this one in 2018. The light blue sweater I knitted for a dear friend some 20 years ago. Probably a design from #DropsDesign.

I've only knitted two hats. The first one was for my then newborn grand-niece, the #sweetstrawberry by #dropsdesign in 2019. The second one last week for the girlfriend of my youngest son. That hat is the #Tentaculahat by #JennyNoto. They were both great fun to knit.

Yesterday I finished the #koality, a blanket with a koala on it made with mosaic crochet. A project I worked on for five months. Size is 140 × 110 cm.

I have one WIP's which has been a WIP for over a year. I do hope to finish that one this year. It's the Lang Setesdalsjakke, only the collar needs to be finished. Two recent knit projects and a crochet project are my other current WIP's.
