Take a break from bad political takes @ the 511 Bistro aka the city hall cafeteria. $10 for soup, sandwich & a drink. Friday also features all day breakfast. Saw young families, older folks, students and staff enjoying a meal today. Who in their right mind would campaign against cheap food? #newwest

One of the things that always stands out to me in places I've been is street art. In Bogota, Medellin, Penang it's everywhere. They all tell stories, make neighbourhoods vibrant and are all around fun. Given all the skytrain pillars that run through #newwest, I'd love to see them covered in art.

It was there just after they opened. Recipes are a little different and it's a new bread supplier. It's as good as Banh Mi Bar, but it's different. I can see why some people don't like the change though

#newwest keeps being awesome. Checked out Arepa Fest today. Left with a full belly full of delicious food and a smile bolted to my face. I hope this festival comes back bigger and better next year!

It was a fantastic afternoon at #recoveryday in #newwest. Such a fun community event! The new streetscape at Belmont is going to be awesome! And we got to save some local news!
