If I’m understanding correctly, this is one of the most excruciating revelations—that they were able to influence Mueller’s actions? To think back then we were naive enough to out our hopes in Mueller when this was in play? My god, so painful to think of this level of pervasive control.

Wow. Most people (myself included until reading this) think he truly was doing both. If the financial svcs thing was actually nothing more than a racket to shield his international sex trafficking /extortion business—I hope this can get really amplified really fast.

I can’t decide whether I think it’s that or something truly pathological. There’s something eerie about his super-calm and cheerful delivery of the outrageous lies that reads “break from reality.”
November 14, 2025 at 10:48 PM
Jesus, who else have you met?
November 14, 2025 at 3:14 AM
I don’t think it’s a random list. Total
conjecture, obvs, but it seems like a list of people he had dirt on and could therefore influence, as in, manipulate, as in, extort.

This times 10 thousand freaking million.
November 13, 2025 at 4:59 AM
Aaaaaand now what—Trump, Vance, Johnson, and Miller are gonna come out and bash…the POPE?! I mean, they gleefully blow up every norm, law, and constitutional precedent, they bulldoze the WH…it’s not as if anything is sacred to them.
November 13, 2025 at 4:58 AM
OMFG.
November 13, 2025 at 4:53 AM
That was meaningless because he organized what his whole caucus did, stupidly thinking the 8 Dems who voted yes—who, gee what do ya know? Aren’t up for reelection in 2026, how convenient!—would give him cover. Which it did not. In other words, his no vote was totally performative, ie bullshit.
November 13, 2025 at 4:49 AM
That’s for goddamn sure.
November 11, 2025 at 5:11 AM
Fair. I just meant that they had a chance, a rare chance, to actually hold the GOP’s feet to the fire, and they royally f#cking blew it. Again. But I take your point. With few exceptions, they’re bought and owned.
November 11, 2025 at 5:10 AM
UGH
November 11, 2025 at 5:05 AM
God that makes it all the more sickening.
November 11, 2025 at 3:50 AM
Yep, what I’ve been posting all night. And Chuck NEVER LEARNS.
November 11, 2025 at 3:40 AM
It just demeans us. Like he thinks we’re so stupid or naive, we’ll still believe his assurances about how normal-times government works? Fucking please.
November 11, 2025 at 3:30 AM
Are. You. Freaking. Kidding. Me? We no longer have a judiciary with any power; the leg branch is on its knees; the admin is blowing up ships, bulldozing the WH, and breaking laws left & right—and you act like normal-times votes will work?! They cheat, they lose?!! WAKE UP. This just demeans us.
November 11, 2025 at 3:29 AM
Lucy always moves the football, Chuck. Your claim that it should be different makes you a chump. You had the GOP in a corner and could have made them own the hardship of the past weeks, but no—you had to cave, squander all that political capital. Sold us out, again. You’re no leader. STEP DOWN.
November 11, 2025 at 3:08 AM
WTF DID YOU THINK WOULD HAPPEN? Don’t you dare point a finger. YOUR caucus caved, and just like Lucy and the football, this was NEVER going to be anything different unless Dems —FOR ONCE —held their ground and made the GOP own it. But no, too much to hope for.
November 11, 2025 at 2:54 AM
FOR REAL. 🤬
November 11, 2025 at 2:47 AM
As every small child who’s ever watched or read a Peanuts cartoon knows:
LUCY ALWAYS MOVES THE GODDAMN FOOTBALL!
I mean, for god’s sake…
November 11, 2025 at 2:43 AM
Chuck, meet Lucy’s football.
November 11, 2025 at 2:10 AM
This is what makes me want to throw plates at the wall. The GOP was backed into a corner. The Dems had built political capital, buoyed by last week’s elections, and could have made the GOP *own* all the hardship of the past weeks. But no, had to cave. Squandered it all. AS USUAL. So enraging.
November 11, 2025 at 1:56 AM
Happy, Chuck? ‘Cause NO ONE ELSE IS.
November 11, 2025 at 1:52 AM
“Oh it’s not me, it’s them.” Like he thinks those carefully chosen 8 Dems not up for reelection can vote yes and give him cover? Like he didn’t coach and approve the whole thing? Like we don’t know cuz we’re morons? Just a cowardly non-leader with NO strategy game, so out of his depth. Get him OUT.
