No problem, it can get a little confusing at times and it looks like that show is trying to ride some NPR coattails by saying “broadcast on 330 NPR stations” which is a little disingenuous!

“Open to Debate” is not an NPR program. It’s syndicated and carried by some stations that also carry NPR shows.

I think there were some NIMBYs on the peninsula who stopped it. There were definitely NIMBYs in Marin who prevented it from being expanded that way. But, you can take Amtrak from the East Bay to San Jose, fwiw.
