i feel like there should be a person who's job it is to show up the first day of shooting, sit the director and the cinematographer down in a room and say "whatever you're about to do, it does not need to be that dark."

I felt this too.

After 2008, Europe as a whole was going through a tough time.

Instead of pulling together with the team to tackle shared problems, Britain took it as an opportunity to attack our neighbours and jump ship.

It was selfish, mean spirited and shortsighted. And it’s backfired.
