Formaggio ruined me with the new Venice board segment. The process of figuring out how I was going to be putting down new cheese pieces to maximize my boat score made this by far and away my favorite module...I just wanna place my little boats!

I finally got Kutna Hora off the Shelf of Aspiration. The teach was almost as long as the game, but the game actions flowed together very well. Both the market and dual action selection cards were the stars of the show on this. Need to play this at 3-4 for more interaction in the building market.

Video Game Champion's ( @arcanewonders.bsky.social ) box cover artwork takes you right back to the early 90's, evoking memories of weekends at the rental store and pulling off button combos with pizza grease covered fingers. While an absolute table hog, we had a solid time with this.

Got to our first game night as a married couple with our friends Matt and Laurie. They introduced us to Jungo, which they gifted me for my bachelorette. It's closest to mixing Nana Toridori and Scout in gameplay. Definitely enjoyable if you like card shedders.

Forgot to do this yesterday. Light month for me considering wedding prep, but very likely ramping up this month with my bachelorette party tomorrow and hanging out with all sorts of guests this weekend.
Also went back to some old favorites this month and glad I did. AMA!

Smoked chicken wings that were ridiculously crispy but tender inside...and the best part was that there was no fat added at all. I need a better picture, but instead of saucing these we kept them naked with a sweet dry rub. I was told that more would be requested in the future.
