Sounds like me, brain racing probs. I found the yoga saying 'watch your breath, slowly in and out' helps. I start by holding my breath, then releasing, which might sound stupid but after this my breathing is deeper, regular and easier to 'watch'. Takes practice, like everything.

We call this Preferential voting in Australia, all governments here, State and Federal use it uniformly across the country. Our entire voting setup is standardized and independent of Government and business. The US system is horrifying to most people here.

Same in Australia. If the House fails to pass the government's budget the government must either resign so that a different government can be appointed or seek a parliamentary dissolution so that new general elections may be held in order to re-confirm or deny the government's mandate.

People don't seem to make the connection between flying and Climate Warming, even those who are educated left leaning. I'm Australian which makes this worse, planes need full tanks for long haul, and even more fuel to get those full tanks in the air. It's the Rich who cause climate warming
