Visited #Whitelee today. 215 turbines, the largest onshore windfarm in UK. Impressive scale, but these turbines are 'small' by today's more powerful standards. New battery storage too. Innovation in action.

Handa Island is full of moorland and seabirds (sorry, no zoom camera). Guillemot, puffin, razorbill, wheatear... Well done Scottish Wildlife Trust for eradicating egg eating rats.

Blackwater Reservoir. An early hydro electric dam built 1910 and still operational. The graveyard is for the construction workers who lost their lives.
