Communal lunch hall (with candles and flowers) along with 2500 attendees at the largest gathering of district heat professionals in the world, Odense, Denmark.
The Danes are diversifying their heat sources, including a 70 MW water sourced heat pump used when electricity prices are low.

Visited #Whitelee today. 215 turbines, the largest onshore windfarm in UK. Impressive scale, but these turbines are 'small' by today's more powerful standards. New battery storage too. Innovation in action.

Handa Island is full of moorland and seabirds (sorry, no zoom camera). Guillemot, puffin, razorbill, wheatear... Well done Scottish Wildlife Trust for eradicating egg eating rats.

Fraochaidh, Glencoe, Scotland. Beautiful, but this small loch has dried up and not one snow patch to be seen - this must be the least snowy winter on record.
