New Reads for March. Handmaid's Tale was as depressing as I expected, but good depressing? Normal fluff I pick up for distractions. And Scalzi continues to be a fun backlog to work through.

So, I've got to ask, what's keeping you sane these days?

THIS IS TODAY!

things that don't require you to support the oligarchs:
- watch the sunset
- read a book you already own
- GO TO THE LIBRARY
- hugs, snuggles, laughter
- star gaze, go on a walk
- chat with a loved one
- play a game you already own
- research your local farmer's markets

Please, science Bluesky. I am begging. I need to know the most ridiculous looking species.

Please tell me what the weirdest little weirdos on the planet are.

Give me your weirdest animal facts.

My feeble grip on sanity is dependent on you.

In a current reading note, I stumbled upon and read this duology this past week. Now I have an overwhelming desire to go to IKEA.

I can't be grateful enough for libraries. Easily 90% of the books I consume these days come from libraries in one form or another, especially through Libby. How much do you find yourself getting books from them?

I posted this earlier today but the original post was deleted, but here it is again in screencap form, about the probably not actually legal shenanigans the new administration is up to at the office of personnel management:

Take the 15 minutes and listen to her sermon. If this is a controversial sermon, then I don't know what isn't. Her words are a beautiful light of hope in this dreary time.
