#shelfie 💙📚🌈📚 between the queer community and the people of #booksky / #booktok / #booktube I think maybe I've finally found my people 🥰

What's something on your 'favorites' shelf?
how do I return to here and now?

I keep getting dragged back
to unfinishable business,
where ends that are unlikely to be anything but loose
are once again keeping me awake.

There is, coincidentally, a literal unfinished tapestry hanging in my room, in the here and now...

I sense a ritual to come

You want to stop funding ICE, the Senate can do that. Government funding runs out on *January 30th* This is a moment to hold
them accountable.

Currently there are just calls to require agents to display IDs and unmask.

I don’t think ICE should get any money until they stop terrorizing people.

Freshly opened

To keep picking the scab

2025 Reading Wrap-Up:
30 books (8 audiobooks, 4 children's books, 4 graphic novels)
💙📚

Everything was pretty good... No clear favorite at the moment, but definitely a few contenders.

Have you read any of these? What was your favorite book from 2025?

What a vividly horrible nightmare I just had that could definitely be the opening to a horror sci-fi video game.

gonna need a lot more than just an "ugh" today

how does bluesky feel about swearing?
Should I make a separate account where I just post a daily "ughhhhh" into the abyss? I feel like maybe it would help. lol

Question of the Day: What books, fiction or non-fiction, on books, bookstores, or libraries have you liked? #booksky

To a field of sheep, along the coast. To a small cottage filled with books and comfy chairs and a warm cup of tea

Question of the Day: If you had a hidden passage behind your bookshelves, where would it take you?

Currently in Portland, vicariously via "Juliet Takes a Breath"

Would love to hear everyone else's bookish travel locations!

Happy Hot Air Balloon Day, lovelies! 💬📚

Where are you currently traveling to through a book? 💙📚

Current read: Juliet Takes a Breath by Gabby Rivera

I'm about halfway through and definitely enjoying it. It's like if A Lesbiana's Guide to Catholic School was mixed with Honey Girl and set in early 2000's Portland, OR.

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.

We have to sustain each other. Making joy isn’t denial, it’s how we will survive
