I never actually had a personal account on the bird platform. Might as well get in on the ground floor of the butterfly.

So what exactly does David Ives have against cheesesteak?

I, too, am sick of living in a world where we have to choose the lesser of two evils, but Paramount getting WBD would be catastrophic for a billion reasons.
Jared Kushner's involvement was "not mentioned in Paramount's press release on Monday morning about its $108 billion bid, nor were participating sovereign wealth funds from Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Qatar."

fancy that
Jared Kushner is part of Paramount's hostile bid for Warner Bros. Discovery
Paramount is telling WBD shareholders that it has a smoother path to regulatory approval than does Netflix.

If SCOTUS tears down the 14th Amendment, there can be no moderate position for ANY Democrat. If they tear it down the Constitution of the United States, SCOTUS should be deemed lawless and the Democrats must go to war with lawlessness.
The fact that SCOTUS is going to tell us who's an American and who's not is THE REASON why the Democrats must stop playing around. It's time to defend immigration as a universal good and in terms of liberty and justice for all.

Accepting rightwing lies as if they're true is how we got here.

Just saw a conspiracy tweet being shared around that says "Ever noticed how there's a billion anti-[W] Hollywood movies, but they don't have a single anti-[X], anti-[Y], or anti-[Z] movie?"

But the question is a lie. There's a *bunch* of movies opposing [X], [Y], & [Z].

the irony is that it's ppl like stephen miller who are incapable of integrating in to american society. that's why they're fascists. they need to force the entire world to conform to them bcos they can't fit in.

I really wanted this to be my little digital zen garden where I could take a break from dealing with current events & be my natural silly self for just 5 min a day, but these jackholes really just NEED to make us think about them for all waking hrs. It'd be pathetic if they weren't so dangerous.

Tron movies aren't big moneymakers in the first place; it won't take much for this to work.
(That said, they're *excellent* commentaries on the dangers of AI, so if you can watch Ares *without* buying a ticket, that may be wise.)
Don’t go see Tron Aries, a Disney film coming out soon.

Make it FLOP!

Well, the spin on this should be easy as heck for Dems next election cycle: "Republicans want to ban you from traveling around the US!"

Ok, I get that "show, don't tell" makes a story BETTER, but that doesn't mean you get to just ignore what they say when they "tell, don't show" & then pretend the story doesn't make sense.
