There were a bunch of these in the shallow part of the creek and they were all black with what I can best describe as little rock ghillie suits.

We haven't had any rain around PDX for over 2 weeks, so low altitude whites have been quite disappointing this week. Don't be afraid of higher altitudes. The ground was frozen so mum & friends had to help, but they are there, fur sure! #truffles #fungifriends #tuber #truffledog #k9HTC #pnwtruffles
