Minnie is the “social eater” of the four cats. She is on prescription food, so the boys are all shut away at feeding time. She gets lonely and won’t eat, so one of us sits with her so she’ll eat all her food (and the boys won’t get it). She is chatty and very happy. #cats #tortie

Thanks to Sam 4 bringing me a corn cob this morning after Fatty hid it under my bed last night. My bed is big & heavy & where Fatty runs to when he has stolen food, as I can’t reach him. The thought of elotes rotting under my bed gave me nightmares. Good boy, Sam. #cat #ginger #polydactyl #MaineCoon

Thanks to Sam 4 bringing me a corn cob this morning after Fatty hid it under my bed last night. My bed is big & heavy & where Fatty runs to when he has stolen food, as I can’t reach him. 23rd anniversary of perhaps the weirdest break-up I every had - April Fools’ Day. I got back from Opening Day with work & she “wanted to talk.” No reasons given & wouldn’t talk. Soon after, she joined the Peace Corps & went to Mongolia. I think she sensed I was getting serious - this was “no.”

Hank & I are starting my battle for cardiac recovery from Long Covid together. He’s old & not much of a walker. I can only exercise in short spurts. 1/3 to 1/2 mile dog walks, at least twice a day, are our starting point. Day 3 is going well... #greatpyrenees #goldenpyrenees #longcovid #walking
