Scream Queens both unlocked this and Keke Palmer's staggering charisma/will soon be a big star for me.

The response to this feels somewhat akin to the response to Hillbilly Elegy— that certain liberals must read it and praise it so that they can properly and publicly perform humility to atone for their eliteness. This is despite both of these books being written by Ivy Leaguers.

I used to work with Canadians and it was this, and Tim Hortons Tim Hortons Tim Hortons American Beer is Weak, all day long. Just utter rogues and villains.

When you're managing the gov's presidential bid, will you make sure his platform includes "Rip out the tin pot gold, restore the East Wing & rip the 'The Donald Trump" part of the Kennedy Center name off'"? He'll get my vote anyway, but he'll definitely get my Boomer parents and their friends too.

Reads like a Wendell Berry classic.

I remember watching him, before the Harper's Letter I think, on a progressive youtube show/channel wondering why this bleeping guy keeps mentioning that he speaks/reads French -- in the most fart-sniffing manner possible.

Right? I was thinking "Nicki Minaj? Really? What did I miss?" and now I know -- I missed a whole lot.

Well, I made the mistake of looking at her feed with xcancel and that's is one horrible bloody person.

Jesus, he's only 46. What is happening here.

The way they will things into existence is bewildering. Left-wing violence is the real threat? Here's Antifa/terrorists. Vaccines killed millions, not COVID? OK, our "experts" agree. Trans-care is why healthcare is expensive? Here's Dr. Oz. It was immigration last week. Just unreality.

They're too cheap to get a bullpen, so yeah, that's probably it.

100% true. I was in school in the 'burgh during this time and he was on the "stay away from him" at bars and clubs list.

Lived in Pittsburgh during that entire saga and for a large portion of his tenure afterward. Can confirm, they do. This wasn't news to me though -- sorority sisters I knew talked about warning the younger women about him if they happened to be at the same club. Word got around. Gross stuff.

I got back into them after years away -- decades really. I was living down the road from a comic book store in London about 4 years ago, randomly popped in -- discovered the works of @therightram.bsky.social.

It's also between 7%+ of America, not 4%. Just randomly halves the total number of Americans using the ACA.

It's a bit pricey, but the Financial Times has a US Edition and I love it. It's not available in all areas though.

I remember seeing her in Scream Queens - 10 years ago now - and it was just wild how she shined even then. Every scene with her just popped.
