To any trans people seeing this post today, please remember you are loved and make this world more wonderful and diverse by simply existing.

We will get there. One day we will be free from hate and a premature grave.

Suicide, improper healthcare and murder affects our community greatly, young people and adults across the generations; our causes of death are the same.

I dream of a world where a day like this doesn't need to happen, where we don't have to bury and remember our friends and loved ones.

GP surgeries currently use Epic Care link which is an online read-only view of a person's health records; not the full encompass system.

It's about time the disparity in communication is solved for the better of everyone's sanity, healthcare staff and patients alike.

I'm not the only person who deals with this and if anything it's a symptom of a larger problem within the NHS in Northern Ireland.

GP surgeries and hospitals are still lacking the systems to communicate with each other properly, referrals still get lost amongst other things.

For drivers: please for the love of god wait your turn and don't drive on footpaths, visibility is poor today and you never know who's on the footpath!

Take it easy, don't aquaplane and plan alternative routes if you gotta.

Personally for me, I've recently received a diagnosis of Pan-enteric Dysmotility with Gastroparesis being a huge factor.

My own care plan involves prokinetics, altering certain medications, and long term care from a gastro dietician to figure out what I can safely eat long term.

Prokinetics are often used as a first-line treatment to help manage symptoms, but other people with gastroparesis who have more severe symptoms sometimes need surgical and more invasive interventions to stop malnutrition and weight loss from worsening.

Functional gut disorders are common in EDS!
