The customization in Kirby Air Riders is super fun. The Vampire, Bulk, and Paper stars are my favorites for now, though Battle Chariot and Hopstar are close.

Thinking again about Loom. I first played it last year, taking up the big tv in the living room on my Analogue Duo. It’s really a very, very lovely experience. Immersive setting, good humor, interesting puzzles and gameplay. The ending sticks with me. I need to play more Lucas Arts games!

A book that changed me? Easy. Edgar Rice Burroughs’ “The Gods of Mars”. I was 4 or 5 and my mother read it to me. It taught me to question society’s mores, religion in particular, and how such things could be used against people to oppress them. Also: just a rip-roarin’ good time. Tars Tarkas 4 Ever
