I don't think we've had a series like this since Romero's original Living Dead trilogy. Each entry using the same base to build a different thematic purpose.

I've seen clips of it in Clair Obscure - it would drive me up the wall!

Ghost of Yotei and Stellar Blade have way too much platforming and hide a lot of good upgrades / content behind it.
