Oh the irony… Trump issues mandates that his administration lower the cost of living for Americans, then halts NIH funding just as a virus decimates egg-laying chickens across the country. And people voted for him because they thought the cost of eggs was already too high.

All the laws and rules on Earth can’t make the LGBTQIA+ community disappear. We always have been and always will be here.

I feel it’s important to note that Canada and Mexico came to California’s aid in fighting the LA wildfires before our own federal government. And people wonder why California always does its own thing, regardless of the rest of the US. We’ve always had to.

At least the mild winter makes for beautiful days at work ☺️

Not to be alarmist, but please be prepared for many gov services to vanish or be horribly downgraded in the months to come. While continuing to push national and local electeds to hold the line, think about non-gov groups that are supporting folks in your community and consider how to support them.
