Irish, views my own, or borrowed. Sport, rugby, tennis, sustainability, film, music and history not necessarily in that order.
Their story has been a huge global success so it resonates and it's seductive - it's is one of hope in times of despair and triumph over adversity. I don't think it's just begrudging of their success -that was built on false narratives and at the expense of others who were not acknowledged.

Their collateral damage from their financial problems was never acknowledged and the effect it had on others. As for Moth's health and condition it really doesn't feel like they have been honest about that. Whilst I too liked the book when I read and wanted to believe it I can't now I know the truth

I never made it to my morning meeting, got caught up in the Tavistock Square bus bomb and the aftermath. I didn't get a bus home but walked home in surreal sunshine. I do remember getting my first bus in August 2005 and crying quietly until someone asked if I was OK. I wasn't but I am now.

The really sad story at the heart of this is of Ros Hemmings and her husband who since died. Whilst this wont bring back her husband I hope it gives her peace of mind. As for Raynor and Moth, they need to face the music, but with the money involved now they wont be representing themselves in court.

The Observer yesterday rings true and would account for the name change and lack of email on her website. And the well documented plot holes in the book. Her social BskySocial & Twitter have been pulled. I would imagine the publisher and agent are pretty busy cancelling her Saltlines tour dates.

And Salt Path also makes me think of Salary, as in the Latin word derived from paying their legionnaires wages in salt.

Most tennis on tour is pretty meh but a good match (Grand slams mostly) where two players are going at it is a great sporting spectacle. But the poshwankery puts a lot of people off for sure.

Like Big Brother before it, I think celebrity Traitors will be big but I'm not sure they will get many better line ups than this first one, maybe a couple but not many. It will become a series of diminishing returns, more obscure celebs but might replace IACGMOOH as the show everyone wants to do!
