I'm extremely good at being normal in public. Yep. Definitely very normal. I do a fantastic job of being normal. I deserve a gold star for my normalness.

Every time the Rapture fails to materialise as expected, the biggest disappointment is always that evangelicals are still here.

Oh jeez, I hope things get better! I mean, Picasso face is neat and all but like... not optimal, y'know? And... yeah. Anything I can do as a person with only human animals in the house? (No donkeys/cows/cheetahs here to take pics of, I'm afraid.)

I had to get some hairs zapped that were growing at the edge of my upper lip. I don't have the words to describe how glad I am to not need to go through that crap any more. 😬

Younger Spawn basically never read, and then they discovered manga and loved it, so we bought them more of the series they liked... Now they read novels regularly and write their own fanfiction. Reading is reading. Kid reads comics? Give 'em comics. Everyone wins.

It's been a very long time since I've felt up to doing any weightlifting at all, hence the expectation that I'm going to suffer for it tomorrow. But it'll be worth it! I really want to get back to being an amazon. 😆

I kill a kid, I go to prison. My company kills a kid, it pays a fine. And if the fine is less than the profit, then my company’s job is to kill kids.

No sane society would intentionally build that, but here we are. Actively repealing child labor laws, not that we’re not already exploiting kids. 2/x

If only there were some sort of research that had been done to prove whether or not long-term overtime like this actually provided overall productivity gains... Perhaps someone could have written a book about this in the 80s, y'know? Maybe call it something catchy, like "Peopleware".

The answer, in case you're wondering, is apparently "not quite". Ramyeon was inspired by ramen and the two are very similar, but there are some differences in approach. Apparently the Korean dish tends to be much bolder & spicier.
