Major road junctions and fast driving are huge barriers to #cycling. West Sussex County Council are launching a consultation on the A24. Familiar with the Dial Post junction nr Knepp? Maybe not their focus but worth raising.

Are you back to school yet? Any School Streets near you? Photos from #Brighton and #Hove

In France, just off the Avenue Verte cycleway you can charge your e-bike battery and your phone for free! 😃🚵📱🪛
Also, free wifi, locker for valuables, toolkit etc.

Home-made (& inappropriate) signage has been demolished by driver(s). Can you sort this junction out? Can @wshighways.bsky.social WSCC or BHCC @brighton-hove.gov.uk help?

We hugely value ferries that carry cycles like the DFDS #Newhaven-#Dieppe service. 🚴‍♀️⛴️🚵‍♂️👏
What do we make of the cycle parking, though? No front wheel grips anymore ✅ but a busy crossing results in a mass of cycles!

Some signs need rephrasing!
This is from the traffic arrangements for the recent #Brighton marathon when people walking/wheeling/cycling were left to negotiate the Carden Avenue/A23 roundabout with obstructed pavements, no cycle route and motor traffic given priority.

The #A23 is closed northbound at #Pyecombe #WestSussex due to a fuel spillage following a collision, and the traffic queues are long. 🚚🚜🚗 You can still cycle though!
