This is my biggest release ever but it's important to me to represent as many people as possible, especially considering how kind Dropout were to let me make them! I know that a lot of the more niche flags will never break even but I'm so happy to share them anyway.

In June, I created a trans pride sticker based on the @dropout.tv show 'Game Changer', which I gave away without profit.

Thanks to an amazing community response and the blessing of @samreich.bsky.social himself, I was later able to sell them profitably and to invest in a few more designs...

Continuing my countdown to the 1 year pinniversary, today I'm celebrating my 9th design.

These pins were inspired by the terms used by scientists for flowers that are both male and female. They are known as 'bisexual' or 'perfect' canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4338... #SciArt

By my 6th design, I was getting requests for an ally pin. The problem is though, that allyship is all about actions and self-declared allies can actually do more harm than good if they don't follow through. So I made this design specifically as a call for action canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4321...

Fun fact: all the indoor photography and video for my sunlight sensitive flower pins was done in a room at my university that's named after @katharinehayhoe.com, so I guess technically theres some bonus climate science hidden in this one, beyond the obvious UV effects!

My 5th pin design was a plant with a flower that changes colour under the UV in sunlight to reveal rainbow pride colours, while appearing white indoors. I wanted to highlight the process of coming out and the fact it's contextual, not just a one time thing. canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/1885...

I was blown away by the response to my trans "It's Dr, Actually" pins so, by popular demand, I made nonbinary ones too. They were so successful, I've now expanded to a whole range of gender pride flag variants, as well as some plain and shimmery colour versions!

My second pin design was actually this trans fern, although the complexity of full 3D design and modelling meant I only released it after a few later pins!

I wanted to create something truly beautiful, that could be worn as both a pin and a necklace.

My first ever pin design was the LGBTree!

I wanted to make something to celebrate the queerness I see in nature as a tree scientist. I even designed my first #SciArt backing card with an LGBTQ+ themed botanical fact!
