My current car will not last another 4 years, so I went ahead and bought a newer (never buy new) car to replace it. While prices and interest rates are somewhat sane. Kept my old car, so if prices do spike, I'll sell high and maybe pay off most of the newer car.

To be clear, the recipe is for a 12 to 14lb turkey. I substituted a 7lb Capon (big chicken). The capon worked well with it.
