I think it's ambiguous enough. Otherwise, they would have either explicitly shown her still alive or not hint that she may still be alive. That's why there are differing interpertations. A sign of art being exceptional is allowing enough ambiguity to foster debate. 🙂

In terms of the tragedy, it would in my view.

🟥🟥 Then again, I'm biased. I like tragic yet hopeful endings, and Jinx's death turning out to be a fakeout from her would significantly weaken the emotional impact from that scene. 🟥🟥

I'm drawn to tragic stories that have moments of loving hopefulness, so Arcane was the perfect show for me. Have you seen it? Do you plan to? What leadership lessons did you get out of it? What are your other thoughts on the series?

Lastly, I'll close by saying that Arcane is ethically complex yet morally clear-eyed, haunting, forgiving, and realistically optimistic; a phenomenal series that compells one to weep from happiness and heartbreak.

★ Forgiveness is essential to loving others. It is also critical to self-awareness, since to be human is to be complex with some level of contradictions; to be human is to be imperfect in goodness toward one another.

★ In itself, seeing the good in people amid the selfishness doesn't excuse any bad behavior or turn a blind eye to accountability, but it can help them to heal and treat others better.

★ Remembering that every adult was once an innocent child whose experiences influenced them to be the adults that they are now helps one to empathize with them.

★ Individuals who behave with frequent cruelty could have been incredibly kind if they had grown up in different circumstances. Even so, one can always choose to commit to changing for the better with great effort and help.
