Authoritarianism, dehumanization, victim-blaming while supporting aggressors, and gutting essential programs, including life-saving ones, are weak and cowardly decisions. Servant-leadership, humility, empathy, and compassion are expressions of love, which is the ultimate form of strength.

Instead of idolizing leaders who snatch aid from people who need help to survive, rule with authoritarianism, & dehumanize certain minorities, may our treatment of others be like that of leaders who exemplified empathy in action, such as Mr. Rogers, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., & Eleanor Roosevelt.

My following statement is beyond progressive, moderate, or conservative. It is pro-humanitarian. The US presidential administration has carried out yet another measure of austerity toward individuals who need not only help to thrive, but to survive.
President Trump's executive order to eliminate the Institute of Museum & Library Services would have disastrous effects for communities nationwide. We call on all Americans who value reading & learning to reach out to their elected leaders.

Am I worried about anyone who supports public schools teaching about the Bible from a pro-Christianity worldview? Not at all. I'm sure they also support pro-atheism teachings in their church's Sunday/Sabbath school and sermons.
