Not having Slavin is killing defensive side of the power play.
Too many taps going in around the goal. I don’t think Walker has caught on to style of pressure the Canes put on teams. Too often someone is in front of net by their self and he is out of position.

At the rate we are going it wouldn’t be this spring. We need Salvin back playing.

It could be due to schedule or teams just playing good. I watch all teams play and the Metro teams have played well so far. Right now the best team in hockey right now is the Avs.

The actual picture will start to appear after December. I’m a Canes fan, but I don’t get caught up in standings until after about 40 games. A lot can happen to teams between now and the end of January.

With Staal out, the key defensive moments won’t be there for his line. We don’t have anyone that can replace him. It’s going to be hard to win.

My thought is, it’s a long season and he has played a lot of minutes. We have the players right now. Everyone cool out, rest will be good for him.

I never thought he was a bad player for the Rangers and I watch a lot of hockey each year.

Since switching back to spectrum, I have the NESA channel plus the FanDuel for my Canes. Been keeping up with the Bruins more this year. One thing I love about watching them at home is the organ music between play stoppages. Thanks Boston for taking me back to my youth this year.

If we stay on the same pace we are on now, which I don’t think we will with all the back to backs coming up, we would have 56 wins.
