My interests include technology, history, medicine, crafting, meteorology and psychology. Politically, I consider myself a tad left of center and I am religiously agnostic. I am totally blind from birth and was a medical transcriptionist for over 25 years.
On this Thanksgiving day, I am full of gratitude for the people who teach me, accept me, encourage me and develop technologies that open for me a world of possibilities as a blind person that I never imagined could exist.

Like many of you, I feel Shocked and traumatized by the election results. But I also think it’s time to get up, brush ourselves off and get beyond just fear and doom talk so that we can start looking for a real path forward. On this Thanksgiving eve, I wonder what if anything gives you hope. ?

In Talking with Trump friends to try to understand them better, the conversation usually leads to the president and the price of eggs. How much influence does the president actually have over the price of eggs and other things, and what can Trump actually do to solve this pesky egg problem?
