looking at it, i think i consider Ruby and Sapphire to be on the same tier as their remakes
ORAS to me feels distinct enough that i cant consider it to just be "The Original But Better" Like i do with FRLG and HGSS
But i dont think they're worse, they're definitely alot easier but still very fun

The original pokemon diamond and pearl were honestly so bad, its a miracle Platinum was able to fix everything and actually end up being like a top 5 pokemon game despite how bad its base game was
