Dems need to start NOW (better time would have been weeks ago) explaining to constituents why some short term pain may be worth it to ultimately save jobs. Once folks aren’t receiving paychecks, the messaging opportunities are very limited.

And yes, we know it’s not a true SOTU but that’s what people are calling it and those # will be trending.
