Wet for walk around Dunwich woods and shingle bank where I saw rutting Red Deer two male six hind. Not much action apart from chasing.

Sure loads of photos of photos on blue sky but I had to so of Isabelline Shrike also a moulting Dartford warbler just behind us. Lovely warm day and showed well most of time while there. A real joy !

Two birds I had wanted to see this summer and both were found at Minsmere today although a little distance. At least 6-8 of the Spotted Redshank could be found in the Black-tailed Godwit flock.

At last some decent shots of Little Owl ! There number seems to have dropped as old Turkish style bungalows are either replaced or modernised to European taste.

This European Roller was looking for breakfast over farmland, we cycled on another mile on to a scrumptious Turkish breakfast at the lakeside restaurant Ekin.

A couple of Penduline Tit stripping an old nest to use building another. Heavy rain a while ago made the old one redundant.

Fantastic boat trip to Candir harbour and back. Two Golden Orioles in song, three overhead Great spotted Cuckoo, Wood chat & Masked Shrike, 8 spur-winged Lapwing plus many other good birds to see 🤩

A selection of pictures from our trip to Girdev today which we saw a great variety of birds two male White-throated Robin, two male Rock Thrush , Blue-rock Thrush female and a few Isabelline Wheatear also two male Snow Buntings it a shame this area is not better protected

Lovely Osprey today (no pics ) but the Pygmy Cormorant drying out was obliging.

More Dalyan action this morning. Manly Little Bittern with four individuals chasing about. Red-rump Swallow preening on wire. White stork decided this concrete post is his ideal site for nesting
