It may be a little vague. I know you have a limited word count, which makes it difficult. Play around with (succinct but catchy) ways to include the story goals & stakes. Try adding a clear definition of “this” (what she never wanted and what he trained for) to let the reader know what’s at stake.

I kind of doubt it, but 🤷🏻‍♀️ I had at least four physical books in my cart for a couple of weeks, but the minute I preordered an ebook, the books in my cart went poof. I thought I accidentally bought all of the books, but when I checked the order invoice, it was just for the ebook. A glitch, I guess.

I like instrumental background music for reading and writing. When writing/reading fantasy I listen to a lot of movie soundtracks or instrumental fantasy playlists. For romcom, I’m more likely to listen to instrumental pop covers or upbeat piano instrumentals.
