My inaugural lecture as Professor of Clinical Medical Physics at Rigshospitalet and DTU will be on the 6th Oct at 3pm in Auditorium 1, Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen

Survived the first week in my new workplace. Got an office, computer, keys & ID card - and so many lovely and welcoming colleagues. Key items have been added to my empty office shelves, and I’ve got tentative plans for stuff to work on over the coming months. Could do with some sleep, though 😂

Oh well, that didn’t quite go to plan … Got 9 hours of restful sleep and a shower, but now stuck in Cologne waiting for a replacement bus. At least I’ve got good company! #ESTRO25

Hella Sand looked at rigid v deformable reg for lung #reirradiation. Both performed well, with good inter-centre consistency, but less variation for DIR, especially for cumulative max dose. Results have driven recommendations in the CURE Lung reRT trial #radonc #medphys #ESTRO25

Yesterday was terrible for my coffee sampling! Far too busy meeting people, and only managed a single coffee from the GE stand. At least it was a delightful reunion with both their barista and their excellent coffee (and the queue was short!). #ESTRO25 #CoffeeChallenge
